This online 1-hour course is designed to provide international doctors with an overview of the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom and basic training programmes available for medical professionals.
The course will cover the history and structure of the NHS, including how it is funded and organized. In addition, the course will introduce participants to the various training programmes available for international doctors who wish to work in the UK, such as the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) exam and the Foundation Programme.
